On June 21, 2021, I became a mother. It was a turning point in my life. The main purpose of writing this book is to let single parents like myself know that they are not alone, and to remind future mothers that they are part of a community that understands. Those exhausting, sleepless, and difficult days won’t last forever—they’re temporary challenges we all face. Dear mothers and mothers-to-be, each of you is so precious, so unique. There is no tool or measure that can truly capture your worth. You’ve carried life, brought it into the world, and you fight to help it thrive—what a sacred task... In raising children, I hope you’ll find in these pages both my own experiences and practical guidance at the end of each chapter to help navigate the challenging, rugged path of parenthood.
